4h Grade Field trip to the Peabody!

This October, the 4th grade class visited the Peabody Museum of Archeology and Ethnology to explore its large collection of materials from around the globe. One of the Peabody's museum educators gave a presentation to the students about the Mayan civilization, which is part of their curriculum this year. The class had time to explore the rest of the Peabody Museum and the attached Natural History Museum, where they could more about oher exhibits, such as gemstones and the internationally acclaimed Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants, better known as the “Glass Flowers."
