On Friday, June 7th, the first grade class visited Natick Farm. Established in 1974, Natick Farm is an award-winning nonprofit, certified organic farm that provides learning opportunities in a productive open space, farm products and hands-on education for all ages. Here, the students learned about rabbits, watched chickens take a dust bath, looked for insects in the compost (including centipedes!), saw sheep and pigs and discussed parts of plants. What a great trip to end the year!
