Last week, DLS celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week!
To our teachers:
Every morning when we see our children off to school, we are thankful that you are there to guide them through another day. The learning you facilitate makes them curious and capable. The community you create gives them a sense of connection and responsibility. The relationships you build with them fuel their growth from day to day.
Your energy, creativity, and dedication amaze us. Thank you so much for everything you do. When our grown children look back on these years, they will remember fondly their earliest heroes -- YOU.
Each day, thanks to family and community contributions, our staff had something to look forward to...On Monday, parents decorated the staff lounge, restocked the beverage station with tea, coffee, and cocoa, and catered breakfast. On Tuesday, all staff members received a goodie bag filled with teacher wish list items. On Wednesday, lunch was catered from Taqueria El Amigo. Thursday, the staff received sweet treats alongside a complimentary drink coupon sponsored by Common Good. Friday, parents provided a feast filled with sweet and savory dishes with a wide array of cultural flair.
DLS parents and students are so grateful to our wonderful staff at Dual Language - thank you for everything that you do to support our children!!! We want to acknowledge our wonderful teachers this week by doing 4 daily drawings as little tokens of appreciation. Congratulations to all the winners!
