On Friday, January 12th, the 1st grade visited the New England Aquarium. Students explored the Giant Ocean Tank, looking for Myrtle the Turtle and counting as many cownose rays as they could! Students used the interactive exhibits with educators to learn about sea turtle shells, shark teeth and different types of coral. They were even able to enter the colors of the arm bands on individual penguins to learn more about each animal! The first field trip of 2024 was a great success!
